Week 8.
Overcoming
challenges.
I thought I knew most of how to overcoming challenges,
or at less that is what I believed. This
week helped me to see that I needed more to learn in this subject.
The most important thing that I learn from this week
videos and readings was the example of Nephi. I knew how by his obedience he achieved
all that he did, how he was faithful and humble, and because all this the Lord
blessed him. And I knew how he build a ship for his whole family, found food in
the desert, and was chose to be the gubernator over his older brothers, and he
never complained not even as his father who was the prophet. I think every member of the church knows
this, mostly all this story, because that is where every member starts reading,
then might be they get to the Book of Alma, then they stop reading for a while,
then they fell that they need to start reading again the whole book from 1
Nephi. And that is how they review over and over again this story, but for what
I realize from this week is that we already know it, but we really realize how important
Nephi obedience was and how magnificent where the blessings of the Lord to him because
of it. For example, to build a ship without any knowledge of how to do it, not
tools not even material to make the tools. If we really think of it, or at
least imaging trying to do this in our days without any means to do it, our
first thought of it will be that is impossible, know imaging trying to do that
on the desert next to the ocean. That truly is something huge, and if the Lord
did that for Nephi for his obedience He can do it for any of us, we all are His
children and we all deserve all those huge blessings like building something
that we might think is impossible, and the only thing that we have to do is to
be obedient and put all our effort to do it.
