WEEK 11.
This week was really good, it made me reflect a lot,
have some conversations with a couple friends to help them to see the most important
things in this life, and to help me to reaffirm that.
It is the night of your seven-year-old daughter’s first dance recital. You have been promising her for weeks that you “wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
An hour before the show, the phone rings, and it is your largest customer. There has been a fire at his plant, and he wants you there immediately. He will not accept anyone else and makes it clear that you will lose his business if you do not come.
What do you do?
Of course for those who know me, would know that I
would still go at my daughters first recital dance, and my answer was a little
bit more deeply on the reason of why, but what I want to share with you is
something that I did not thought until I read it in the post of some of my
classmates. And that is to still going at your daughters event, send one of
your employees to fulfill the needs of your customer, having him knowing that
your employee would do the same thing that you would if you were present in
that moment. The other thing was that
you should always develop a trust relationship with all your customers and not
let any of them to unrespect you in that manner nether you should. But I think of having someone to represent yourself
in any situation in your company is a great idea!!
Here is the other case:
It is the night of your seven-year-old daughter’s

I hope some of you can share with me what you would
do.
Best
Emilio.
